/ synopsis

We follow a village doctor who travels around to his patients in Normandy, France in 1997.

There are fewer and fewer doctors who does home visits.

He is an old fashioned family doctor who knows and takes care of everyone in the family and helps them with more than just their health. The film won 1st prize at the film festival "Documentaire d’Aigues-Mortes”, Marseille, France 1998. The same year it was nominated and selected from 600 films to participate in the most important documentary film festival in France: ”Selection Francaise au Festival Les Etats Généraux du Film Documentaire” in Lussas, France. The film is in the catalogue ”Images de la Culture” at the French Centre National de Cinématographie (CNC), Paris, where it is available for showings.
